Huir o Quedarse

We composed the original score and crafted the full sound design for the documentary Huir o Quedarse. The sonic approach is intentionally abstract and intimate: somber melodic motifs, submerged/“choked” vocal textures, and restrained harmonic movement to hold a constant emotional weight.

The sound design reinforces the psychological pressure of the story-building an austere, bleak atmosphere that reflects the brutality and uncertainty of the war in Ukraine without tipping into melodrama.
