Description

The brief shifted into precision-driven, cinematic performance music: an original score for CUPRA’s One of Us Awards, tightly synchronized to a 40-member tutting choreography and locked to strict requirements on tempo, hit points, timings, and section lengths.

We proposed a percussion-led orchestral build designed around a detailed tempo map and timecoded structure, so every accent lands on the choreographic “frames” and editorial transitions. The final result is a 2-minute studio-recorded score featuring professional percussionists and a curated palette of wood + metal instruments (wood blocks/log drums, claps, shakers, rim/tom work; metallic hits, cymbals, bells/chimes), reinforced with orchestral layers for scale and warm analog synth design for modern edge.

We kept the arrangement punchy and modular to preserve clarity under choreography, while delivering maximum impact and forward motion without losing cinematic weight.
