The brief was to tell the story entirely in POV-through a newborn’s eyes-so the audio had to behave like perception, not like a conventional ad score.
We designed the piece as a synesthetic mix of sound design + composition, where micro-textures (breath, tiny vocalisations, fabric and cradle movement, toy materials, close-room cues) build intimacy and physicality, anchoring the viewer inside the baby’s world. On top of that, we wrote a minimal, ultra-soft orchestral layer led by flutes and warm woodwinds, keeping dynamics and harmonic movement restrained so it supports tenderness without sentimental “swells.”
The result is a film where sound design carries the POV and emotional proximity, and the music provides a gentle, human contour that stays transparent to picture.
