We composed an original, solo-cello score for MSF’s EnfocAH videocoverages-short films where music and photojournalism merge to amplify under-reported humanitarian crises. Built around a high-emotion, arpeggiated cello language, we developed classical-leaning harmonic evolutions and a melancholic cadence that can sustain tension and compassion without over-signposting, letting the imagery lead while the music carries the subtext.
The piece was conceived to sync with a photographic narrative (≈30 images) and live comfortably in a 2–3 minute format, with an arc that supports the edit’s pacing and ends with a clear, resonant resolution suitable for presentation and sharing via MSF/CCCB channels.
