Dove Men+Care “Mason”

The brief was to deliver a 15-second original that feels more upbeat/energetic than the existing temp, while staying strictly inside the Dove Men+Care Sonic Principles and leaving space for heavy VO. We built the cue by “printing” to picture with a tight micro-structure: intro lift → hook statement → mnemonic sign-off, using the mandatory melody call as the recognizable hookline and landing the mnemonic at the end, without changing key/notes as required by the guidelines.

We then added optional DNA only where it supported momentum (short answer phrases after the call, and light riff ornamentation), keeping instrumentation in an indie/rock-adjacent lane (clean guitars, muted drums, warm bass) so the track reads optimistic and modern without overpowering VO.

The result is a punchy, brand-consistent 15” that preserves the DM+C melodic DNA while injecting more life through groove, brighter voicing, and controlled dynamics designed for cutdowns and versions.
